Manatees are Starving In the indian river lagoon

Please help restore the Lagoon and all its creatures by: 1) using less yard fertilizer and herbicides; 2) Contact your Florida elected officials and urge them to allow local governments to ban fertilizer in the summer months when heavy rains flush pollutants into our waterways; 3) restore shoreline plants, which filter pollution before it enters the estuary; and 4) create a “no mow” buffer along waterways to increase shoreline vegetation.

Manatees and other wildlife are now in more danger than ever before. Take a closer look at the beauty and dangers the Indian River Lagoon faces.
